Be a part of a D-Group... AND TAKE HOLD OF THE JOY OF GROWING IN THE LORD WITH OTHER BELIEVERS! It's all about building a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ through fellowship bonds with one another as interdependent connected parts of on body, living and serving God and one another as a family. Mission Statment To make committed followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. Vision Discipleship Group and Disciples of 12 is better known from the expression "D-group" and "D12". This is the core ministry of Christ's Commission Fellowship. It is based on the example of Jesus Christ who discipled 12 persons. The bible teaches us that all believers are ministers of Christ, commissioned by Jesus to make disciples. Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make DISCIPLES of all the nations..." 2 Timothy 2:2 "And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others." A believer's participation in a small group s encourages for personal growth and maturity as a Christian. Discipleship Group The D-Group is a group of (2-10) individuals or (2-5) couples who meet regularly to study the Bible to build up their knowledge of God and learn to live according to His teachings. Through this fellowship; individuals receive encouragement, counseling, prayer, and guidance in their Christian walk. Your D-group is like belonging to a small church family that personally cares for our spiritual growth and development to strengthen your faith in Christ. Disciples of 12 The D-12 is a homogeneous group of (1-12) believers who are committed to be trained to be future leaders. Each D-12 member is personally and group mentored and discipled by a D-12 Leader. Through mutual accountability, prayers, skills training, character development, and life modeling a D-12 member grows to maturity and is equipped to duplicate the process by starting his/her own D-Group and later on D-12 group.
